SAN JOSE, Calif. – Jun. 19, 2012 – Tilera® Corporation, the leader in 64-bit manycore general purpose processors, today announced that it will be participating at GigaOm Structure on Wednesday, June 20 and Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the Mission Bay Conference Center in San Francisco. The company will show case its manycore processor solutions for the data center and cloud computing environments. The company’s designs offer the industry’s best compute per watt performance, are deployed in three of the top 20 data centers, are used in thousands of servers shipping this year. Tilera is also active with Facebook’s Open Compute project which is dedicated to understanding how to scale its computing infrastructure in the most efficient and economical way possible.

What: Tilera, will be showcasing the new 144-core 1U TILExtreme-Gx platform, the 1U TILEmpower-Gx platform and the high performance  TILEncore-Gx PCIe card.
Additionally, the company will host a workshop – “4 Ways to Accelerate Your Data Center” - on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 10:45 a.m. PT in Room 1. Speakers include Tilera’s Ihab Bishara, Director of Servers Solutions, and Ken Steele, Senior Applications Architect.
