Applications Engineer - Signal Processing
Job Description
Software Engineer who will work with limited supervision and is responsible for the development, testing, documentation, and analysis of wireless and video applications in C on Linux
Requirements
- Able to analyze complex issues and develop and deploy appropriate solutions using judgment within defined practices and procedures
- Write code, complete programming, develop and execute testing and debugging routines, and documenting work and results
- A total of 5 to 7 years experience in coding wireless and/or video applications.
- H264 and LTE experience is highly desirable.
- Multi-process/thread experience.
- In depth Linux experience is a huge plus
- Solid C programming and analytical skills
- Excellent inter-personal communication skills
- Minimum level of education: BS in CS, EE or equivalent well-rounded engineering skills, including technical investigation, design, software engineering process, schedule development, productive implementation practices, and technical communication both written and spoken.
- An effective team player who can productively work with other team members, including hardware and system architects, application developers, and marketing to define effective products.
- Currently authorized to work full-time in the US. (We are not offering H1-B sponsorship.)
Location and Travel
- This position could be located in our San Jose CA site.
- Some travel may be necessary between Tilera’s development sites
